Treetops Hospice Care has been named runners up in the Not for Profit Organisation category in the Derby Telegraph Business Awards 2019.

Treetops, based in Risley, provides nursing care and emotional support for adults with life limiting conditions living in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. All services are provided for free and last year the hospice supported over 1,800 people and their families.

Treetops staff and volunteers attended the prestigious evening ceremony at the Roundhouse, Derby College on Wednesday 5 June.

The Not for Profit Award Category was sponsored by the Sellick Partnership, the leading recruitment specialist in the Midlands.

 

The award recognises the excellent performance of the public sector, not-for-profit and charitable organisations in the area and is judged on financial performance, cultural influence and benefit to the community.

Treetops services include Support and Information, Wellbeing Space, Hospice at Home nurses and Therapeutic Services including counselling, art therapy and complementary therapy. All services are available from diagnosis onwards.
