You don’t need to be a runner or adrenaline junkie to raise money for us.
We have supporters hosting race nights, holding cake sales and organising virtual quizzes. Or you can simply pledge your support by purchasing items from our charity shops across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
However, if you do fancy trying something a little more daring, then we have plenty of events planned, in which you can get involved.
The Derby 10k is always a popular event and you don't need to belong to a running club to take part. Lots of our supporters run socially or in their own time to get healthy and fit.
We’re also really excited to offer our supporters a swimming challenge this year. We have places in the Great North Swim 1 Mile challenge at Lake Windermere.
More and more people enjoy outdoor or wild swimming, like Gaynor Bentley, who raised over £1,300 for us last year.
Gaynor, who admits she’s not the strongest swimmer, swam across 60 different wild locations, including Spring Lakes in Nottingham. Her final swim took place on Christmas Day.
I will never forget the support given to my mum, Ada, by Treetops Hospice.
We wouldn’t have got through without the Treetops nurses and the challenge of completing 60 open water swims seemed easy in comparison.

All participants receive a Treetops tech-top and medal. You will be asked to raise a target amount of money to help us to continue our vital work for patients and their families.
