It's an exciting time to work at Treetops Hospice. We have developed new roles to help deliver our ambitious strategy of reaching more people with our services and working more closely with our partners in the health, social care and voluntary sectors.

We are excited to be expanding and developing our Wellbeing Service and are seeking to recruit a skilled Occupational Therapist to support with this.

You will be working with patients and carers with highly complex emotional and physical needs, providing therapeutic conversations and planning services tailored to the individual needs of our patients and their families. You will lead on the development of our reablement programme (Spring) aimed at supporting maintenance of wellbeing and meaningful occupation.

Reporting to the Wellbeing manager, you will develop individualised programmes, with outcome measures that evidence the therapeutic benefit of occupational therapy working with our volunteers and wider therapeutic team.

Ideally, you will have knowledge and skills in supporting people with dementia and their families and/or palliative care experience that you will be able to utilise within this position.

You will be a qualified occupational therapist with a minimum of 3 years post registration and experience in palliative care / dementia.
