Skydive for Treetops

Imagine this… you’re sitting in the doorway of an aircraft, your feet dangling below you. You look up and see the clouds above – you’re flying at 14,000 feet! Imagine leaning forward out of that doorway and letting go, falling into the clouds below, free-falling at over 120mph before the parachute opens and you begin to descend over the beautiful local countryside. Take a deep breath, make the leap and book your place today. It will be the most exhilarating thing you ever do! Raise £432 or more and jump for free! Wing Walk for Treetops

A once in a lifetime experience! This one is for the daredevils - if you're looking for a thrill and an exhilaration, this is not to be missed! Around 10 minutes long, you'll be strapped to a plane flying up to 700ft at speeds from 80mph to a whopping 130mph. This really is an incredible, unforgettable experience that helps support local patients and families across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Edgy Walk 2025

The climbs and descents are modest, and the obstacles are few. There'll be some superb views from the high ground of Higger Tor and the iron age walls of Carl Wark before heading out in the direction of Millstone Edge. This Walk starts from Longshaw visitor centre and finishes by the National Trust's Longshaw café. #TeamTreetops can refuel with a view over the valley and celebrate our phenomenal success! This will be a sociable walk with an emphasis on soaking up the views at a relaxed pace and moving safely through the rocky sections. Step out of your comfort zone to support your local hospice. London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025

The London Landmarks Half Marathon is back for 2025 and #TeamTreetops have bagged 5 coveted places! This unique opportunity to see London’s landmarks up close, whilst pounding the traffic free streets of our capital is not one to be missed. This is London's only half marathon through Westminster and the City and takes in many iconic sights such as Covent Garden, St Pauls Cathedral, Tower Bridge and finishes at Downing Street. Pink Moon Half Marathon (Ladies only)

This trail run heralds the rising of The Pink Moon (the name given to the full moon in April). You will welcome the Pink Moon by running out and back on this challenging but scenic route (expect to be 20 - 30 minutes longer than your usual half marathon time). Starting at 4pm from Race HQ at Rock Lane in Sutton Scarsdale, the route will take you through Sutton Spring Wood and then climb to the Five Pits Trail, making sure to soak up the views as you go. The route will then undulate before reaching the turning loop where there will be an aid station catering for your needs. You will receive a warm welcome at the finish where you will receive you can celebrate your achievement with complementary cake and hot drinks by the campfire! There will be additional marshals wearing hi viz along the course and in Sutton Springs Wood and they'll be waving glow sticks to guide you to the finish. There will be a tail runner sweeping the course to ensure everyone is back by 7pm. Free car parking and toilets are available at the Race HQ. The race has a 3hr 30 min time limit. (This includes an optional 30 minute earlier start for those who don't want to run through dusk/in the dark.) Step out of your comfort zone to support your local hospice.

The Derwent Valley Skyline Trek

This is an epic trek covering 24 miles of challenging beauty.   This is suitable for people with good fitness and endurance and those up for a challenging Trek. It’s a serious walk, often across demanding terrain, which takes in the watershed above the Upper Derwent reservoirs. This route offers vast views and allows you to get close up to some more outstanding Peak District rock formations such as Wheel Stones, Salt Cellar, and Alport Castles. It is a rewarding full day out. Step out of your comfort zone to support your local hospice by taking on this tremendous trek!

London to Paris Cycle 2025

Each year, the London to Paris Cycle attracts hundreds of eager and determined cyclists. It is an achievement that you will remember for a lifetime and whilst you'll be cycling to France, the funds you raise will help local people and families in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. You'll be cycling 309 miles from one capital to another capital, through glorious English countryside, quaint French market towns, passing by war memorials and cemeteries of the Somme. The cycle concludes near the Arc de Triomphe and finishes at the Eiffel Tower, a sight which will diminish the saddle sore immediately and fill you with euphoria. You've made it! Included in your registration fee is the a one way ferry crossing from Dover to Calais, a Eurostar ticket from Paris to London, all accomodation bar the evening prior to the start of the challenge, most breakfasts, lunches and dinners, refreshments, English speaking guides and more! Join #TeamTreetops We're recruiting an awesome group of people to run the Great North Run for Treetops Hospice so we can continue to care for people living with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions, in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
