Treetops Hospice provides nursing and therapeutic care alongside emotional support for anyone affected by a life-limiting illness in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
Clinical Education at Treetops coordinates a suite of training courses and online resources, aimed at individuals and organisations who need to manage emotionally complex situations, end of life care and bereavement.
The successful applicant will assist with co-ordination of all course communications, diary planning, room booking and resources. Undertake all types of departmental administration and organisation which will include correspondence, filing, data input, checking expenses and documents and compiling management information.
Act as a first point of contact for all subscribers to the RealTalk website responding to queries, managing access requests and processing applications. Monitor the Derbyshire Alliance website resources, identifying expiry dates / version control, uploading and removing old resources along with course and training event details.
The person we select will be numerate and will have excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills, be fully computer literate with a thorough working knowledge in all aspects of Microsoft Office and be able to work under pressure in a very busy office environment.
The successful candidate will need to deal with changing priorities and assimilating and responding to information from a variety of sources.
Also important is the ability to relate to people, with a supportive and empathetic approach and a kind and compassionate personality.
