We’re recruiting a fundraiser to support the people and organisations who raise money for Treetops. We’re looking for someone who loves people, with an outgoing personality, who can walk into a room and make friends. Someone who can help to make Treetops famous in the villages and towns we serve.
You will have the confidence to advise people on their fundraising and to recruit new supporters by knocking on doors and popping into pubs, doctors’ surgeries, shops, factories, and offices. You’ll chat to community leaders, talk in assemblies and to community groups. Reacting quickly to opportunities, you will recruit onto Treetops events and pass leads to colleagues. You’ll have good IT skills, be organised, self-motivated and ambitious.
This role provides a great introduction to fundraising. You will spend 2-3 days a week in the community and 1-2 days in the hospice in Risley. On occasions you will work early mornings, evenings and weekends - time will be given back for this.
Fundraising experience isn’t essential. We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate transferable skills and experience from another sector such as sales, hospitality, retail or university RAG. So, if you want to be a face of Treetops in the community please apply.
