Our weekly Wellbeing Cafe has welcomed over 1,000 visitors through its doors since all covid restrictions were finally lifted last March.

Construction and property business network, Interact Derby, has donated £10,000 to us in memory of Patrick (Paddy) Harkins. Paddy received end-of-life nursing care at home from our hospice nurses.

Campaign for bereavement education in schools

We are supporting the National Association of Funeral Directors campaign to provide age-appropriate bereavement education to the national curriculum. Our bereavement training for primary schools helps staff better understand how to support children when a loved one dies.
