Treetops Hospice In Memory tree

Dedicate a leaf on our Memory Tree

Our Memory Tree offers a meaningful way to remember the life of someone special.

Once you have chosen your leaf ,  we will personalise it with a message of your choice.

Your leaf will be displayed in the tree for a minimum of one year.  Your donation is a wonderful way to support us and help local people receive high-quality end-of-life care.

You can also buy duplicate leaves as a unique keepsake.

Our Memory Tree was designed and installed by local artist Phil Neal.

Find out more about the Memory Tree

If you would like to know more about the Memory Tree please email Julie Walker, our Legacy and In Memoriam Relationships Manager, to arrange a visit or find out more.

  • You can make your donation once, or in monthly instalments. Your leaf will be displayed for one year, or longer if you wish.
  • * minimum 12 month commitment

  • As we will use your spelling, please take care that everything is correct. We ask that you do not include a date of death please.
  • If you are a UK taxpayer, using Gift Aid means that for every pound that you give, we receive an extra 25 pence from the Inland Revenue, helping your donations go further. Treetops cannot claim Gift Aid for the money received for Keepsake Leaves or any money from a business or organisation.

I want all my donations given to Treetops Hospice within the last 4 years and all donations I make in the future to be Gift Aided until I notify otherwise. I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference. I understand the charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I have given.

FAQs

How long will it be before my leaf is displayed?

The leaves are ordered every few weeks and we will advise you as soon as yours is on display.

Where is the Memory Tree and when can I visit?

Our Memory Tree is the focal point of the internal courtyard garden at Treetops Hospice.  This provides a peaceful place to sit with your memories and you are welcome whenever the hospice is open (usually Monday to Friday 10am – 4pm, but please call us to check times beforehand). We will let you know the evenings or weekends over the year when the courtyard may be open.

What happens at the end of the year?

If you make an annual gift by cheque, we will contact you a few weeks before the end of the 12 months to see if you would like your leaf to stay on our Memory Tree for another year.  No matter how you donate, if you choose not to renew then your leaf will be returned to you.
