Recycle your real Christmas tree with Treetops
Take the hassle out of Christmas. No more struggling to fit your tree into the car or dealing with messy pine needles. In exchange for a donation to the hospice, we’ll collect and recycle your real Christmas tree.
We’ll be collecting Christmas trees between the 7-9 January 2025.
Christmas tree collections are available in the following postcode areas:
NG9, NG10, DE1, DE21, DE22, DE23, DE3, DE56, DE7, DE72, DE73, DE74
After registering your tree and making your donation, there’s nothing more you need to do until January. Leave your tree outside your house on the morning of Tuesday 7 January, and one of our volunteers will collect your tree. It’s that simple!
Registration closes at midnight on Sunday 5 January 2025 or earlier if we reach capacity. Register now to avoid disappointment.
Other organisations may dispose of your Christmas tree for no cost.
How your donation makes a difference
By recycling your tree with us, you will be helping us care for even more patients and families in the local community. Your support really does make a difference!
Could help fund two hours of nursing care and support for a patient in their own home
Could help fund a bereavement counselling session
Could help fund a home visit from one of our nurses to a family caring for a loved one during the night
Volunteer to help us
