The homemade tasty treats were given out through our 19 charity shops across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire as well as to local supporters including Derby County Community Trust, Derbion, and MX Display.
As part of the great cake giveaway, a group of patients, counselling clients, volunteers and staff also helped ice 250 muffins.
The muffins featured an edible cake topper emblazoned with a specially-commissioned Treetops Hospice 40th birthday logo.
Treetops Chief Executive, Julie Heath, helped deliver cakes and hand out pieces to visiting customers.
